MY eSIM IS STUCK ON “ACTIVATING”

If your eSIM shows “Activating,” it means it hasn’t fully connected to a local network yet. This is common and usually resolves once you’re in a supported country and your settings are correct.

HAVE YOU ARRIVED IN ONE OF THE COVERED COUNTRIES YET?

No, I haven’t arrived yet
This is expected. Your eSIM cannot activate until it connects to a supported local network.

If you’d like, you can turn off Mobile Data or temporarily disable the eSIM to avoid battery drain.

Once you arrive at your destination, turn the eSIM back on and follow How to Activate Your eSIM to get connected.

Yes, I’ve already arrived
If you’re already at your destination and the eSIM still shows “Activating,” try the following:

  • Restart your device
  • Make sure Mobile Data and Data Roaming are enabled for the eSIM
  • Wait a few minutes for the status to update

If it still doesn’t connect, you can:

  • Toggle Airplane Mode on and off to refresh the connection
  • Review your network settings
  • Reinstall your eSIM using the activation email you received
