Most Simify eSIMs connect automatically once they’re installed. In some cases, the phone may need the APN added or updated so it knows how to connect to the local network.
We usually only look at APN settings if:
- The eSIM is installed and active
- Device settings look correct
- There’s still no mobile data
If everything is already working, there’s no need to change anything here.
APN by country / region
For most devices, you’ll only need to fill in the APN field.
- APN: use the value shown on the product page
- Username: leave blank
- Password: leave blank
- Authentication type: not required
- APN roaming protocol: IPv4 (default)
If your device asks for additional fields, it’s usually safe to leave them unchanged.
