Can I Choose Which Network My eSIM Connects To?

Yes—you can choose a network manually if you want to. That said, most of the time, you won’t need to.

Simify eSIMs are designed to automatically connect to the strongest available network in your location. This helps ensure better coverage, more stable speeds, and a smoother overall connection wherever you are.

Your eSIM isn’t locked to just one carrier. As you move around, it can switch between supported networks automatically based on signal strength and nearby cell towers, so you stay connected without having to think about it.

How to switch networks manually

While automatic network selection works best in most cases, you can manually choose another supported network on your device if you’re experiencing issues or want to try a different connection.

Using an iPhone

  1. Go to phone Settings
  2. Tap Mobile Service (or Cellular)
  3. Select your Simify eSIM
  4. Tap Network Selection
  5. Turn Automatic Off and choose another available network
  6. Restart your phone

It’s best to wait a few seconds for the phone to connect, as it may try several available networks before establishing a connection.
